CELL CITY POWER POINT
|
UNDERSTAND THE CONCEPT OF PERMEABILITY
cell membrane,the cell membrane
The cell membrane is selectively permeable to ions and organic molecules and controls the movement of substances in and out of cells. The basic function of the cell membrane is to protect the cell from its surroundings. It consists of the phospholipid bilayer with embedded proteins.

LYSOSOMES
Lysosomes are cellular organelles that contain acid hydrolase enzymes that break down waste materials and cellular debris. They can be described as the stomach of the cell. Lysosomes digest excess or worn-out organelles, food particles, and engulfed viruses or bacteria.

The cells
Animal and Plants Cells, the different between both of them there not really that diff if you ask me so yeah
Prokaryotic cells do not have a true nucleus, and they don't have membrane-bound organelles.
Eukaryotic cells are a lot more complex. They have a nucleus in a nuclear membrane, where DNA or other genetic information is stored, as well as lots of organelles that serve different functions.
ROLE OF ENZYMES
A fundamental task of proteins is to act as enzymes—catalysts that increase the rate of virtually all the chemical reactions within cells. Although RNAs are capable of catalyzing some reactions, most biological reactions are catalyzed by proteins.

GENETIC MATERIAL
The genetic material of a cell or an organism refers to those materials found in the nucleus, mitochondria and cytoplasm, which play a fundamental role in determining the structure and nature of cell substances, and capable of self-propagating and variation.it's in the center
